We run a secure payment gateway with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates. These are an integral part of our website security.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our payment service provider Mollie stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS level 1 certified). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
For more insight, you may also want to read Mollie’s Privacy Statement here.
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
Information shared with our services providers
We may engage third-party services providers to work with us to administer and provide the Services. Some of examples of these third-party’s services are our webshop host WordPress and Woocommerce, payment processing Mollie and shipping with Sendcloud. These third-party services providers have access to your PII only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf and are expressly obligated not to disclose or use your PII for any other purpose. When you make a payment, the third party payment processor (e.g., Mollie, Paypal) receives your full payment information and we receive only a funding confirmation.
Information shared with third parties
We may share aggregated information and non-identifying information with third parties for analytics, feedback service, demographic profiling and other similar purposes. We may contract with third parties who provide us with other information about you, which we may then combine with the information we receive from you. We use this information to better provide our Services, to customize our advertisements to you and other customers, and to provide direct marketing to you, including by mail. (e.g., Facebook, Google ads, Hotjar, MailChimp)

* Site functionality cookies (Session & Persistent cookies) – Session cookies typically store information in the form of a session identification that does not personally identify you. These cookies are stored in temporary memory and are erased when you close the web browser. Persistent cookies may collect information about you, such as web surfing behavior or user preferences for a specific website. These cookies are stored on your hard drive until they expire or until you delete them.
* Site analytics cookies – these cookies allow us to measure and analyse how our customers use the site, to improve both its functionality and your shopping experience.
* Targeting or advertising cookies – these cookies are used to deliver ads relevant to you. They also limit the number of times that you see an ad and help us measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
