Disclosure
We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

Payment
We run a secure payment gateway with SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) certificates. These are an integral part of our website security.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then our payment service provider Mollie stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS level 1 certified). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

For more insight, you may also want to read Mollie’s Privacy Statement here.

Third-party services
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

Information shared with our services providers
We may engage third-party services providers to work with us to administer and provide the Services. Some of examples of these third-party’s services are our webshop host WordPress and Woocommerce, payment processing Mollie and shipping with Sendcloud. These third-party services providers have access to your PII only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf and are expressly obligated not to disclose or use your PII for any other purpose. When you make a payment, the third party payment processor (e.g., Mollie, Paypal) receives your full payment information and we receive only a funding confirmation.

Information shared with third parties
We may share aggregated information and non-identifying information with third parties for analytics, feedback service, demographic profiling and other similar purposes. We may contract with third parties who provide us with other information about you, which we may then combine with the information we receive from you. We use this information to better provide our Services, to customize our advertisements to you and other customers, and to provide direct marketing to you, including by mail. (e.g., Facebook, Google ads, Hotjar, MailChimp)

Once you leave our store’s website or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy or our website’s Terms of Service.

Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed in visitors’ computer browsers to store their preferences.
We use these cookies when you visit our site. There are four main types of cookies, here’s how and why we use them.

* Site functionality cookies (Session & Persistent cookies) – Session cookies typically store information in the form of a session identification that does not personally identify you. These cookies are stored in temporary memory and are erased when you close the web browser. Persistent cookies may collect information about you, such as web surfing behavior or user preferences for a specific website. These cookies are stored on your hard drive until they expire or until you delete them.

* Site analytics cookies – these cookies allow us to measure and analyse how our customers use the site, to improve both its functionality and your shopping experience.

* Targeting or advertising cookies – these cookies are used to deliver ads relevant to you. They also limit the number of times that you see an ad and help us measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

* Social media plugins – Social media plugins are plugins that enable you to ‘share’ content with friends through social networks, such as Facebook and Twitter or similar service providers. We do not control the setting of these cookies. If you are a user of the services of any of those service providers and would like to know more about what kind of data may be collected through such social plugins and how such data may be used by the respective service provider, please check the privacy policy of that service provider.

Please note that by deleting or disabling future cookies, your user experience may be affected and you might not be able to take advantage of certain functions of our site, and the complete Studio Cosima user experience that we provide for our customers.

Pixel tags / Web beacons
A pixel tag (also known as a web beacon) is a piece of code embedded on the Site that collects information about users’ engagement on that web page. The use of a pixel allows us to record, for example, that a user has visited a particular web page or clicked on a particular advertisement.

Analytics
We may also use Google Analytics and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting and other providers to collect information regarding visitor behavior and visitor demographics on some of our Services, and to develop website content. Google Analytics data is not tied to any Personal Information. For more information about Google Analytics, please visit Google.

You can opt out of Google’s collection and Processing of data generated by your use of the Services by going to Opt out.

Security
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption.  Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
